Hi there,
Let`s continue the story from where we left off last week…
It took as long as my fears to let go of my guilt feelings and I felt the energy inside me rise to the upper chakra, the solar plexus.
“The third chakra, the solar plexus, is your will center. It is represented by the element of fire and is the center of the will," and Hermes again guided me.
Once again, I understood that each chakra had a specific function in the body. These chakras, which he portrayed as small lakes lined up on a single channel, were actually rotating energy centers. If we think of chakras, which means "wheels" in Sanskrit, as an example of small lakes, the karmic sediments and emotions that prevent the energy from flowing into those lakes were preventing that chakra from doing its job. Thus, the cosmic energies that flowed to us from our top chakra descended to our root chakra at very low intensity and kept us from our divine potential.
Hermes was guiding me through each chakra and giving me time to unblock my chakras.
“It is shame and disappointment that closes the solar plexus. Whatever embarrasses you in life, you should leave them behind. You have to let go of all your resentments.”
By repeating the same meditation, I faced my embarrassments and left them behind. I also had wants, needs, and desires like every human being and I didn't have to be ashamed to express them. There was no need for me to be ashamed of what I did at the right time, in the right way, in the right attitude, with manners, decency, and morals.
“The One who loves you is with you, the rest is a guest,” Mevlana (Rumi) was saying. He was right because he who truly loved me loved me with my gifts and failures. Then I didn't have to be ashamed of my wants, needs, and dreams. I didn't need to be ashamed of my mistakes, flaws, or shortcomings, and mistakes. I was a human being just like any other human being. What I needed to do was to get rid of the environment and people who did not accept me as I am, that is, the toxic elements.
I've lost sight of my disappointments. I thought about my whole life and the disappointments that came to the fore that had affected me deeply. I thought about the disappointments that I couldn't leave behind and that shackled me. As I carried them in my mind, I realized that they were driving me away from my path and shadowing my heart.
I stayed in meditation to get rid of all my shame and disappointment.
Stay tuned for the heart chakra next week.
The Art of Living Without Sadness
Epictetus said twenty centuries ago:
'Fate eventually puts the cost of our sins before us, one way or another. In visible or invisible times, everyone pays for their sins. He reaps what he sows.
A man who knows this does not get angry with anyone does not get offended, does not humiliate anyone, does not accuse anyone, does not hate anyone, and does not hold grudges against anyone. The man who knows this is not surprised by the setbacks he encounters.
He knows that the material and moral obstacles that come his way are nothing but his own sins.'
Even a minute to think about your enemies is worth more than your enemies.
The feeling of hatred and revenge will do you great harm.
Aristotle says:
The ideal person enjoys doing good. He feels embarrassed if a favor is done to him. Because doing good is a sign of superiority, being in need of favor is a sign of weakness.'
Let us be prepared not to grieve over the ingratitude we will encounter. Let's do good without expecting anything in return.
Happiness is not waiting for gratitude but reaching the maturity to feel uncomfortable when being grateful.
